Chengdu branch of Standard Chartered Bank

The headquarters of the Standard Chartered Bank (China) disclosed that
the British Standard Chartered Bank Co., Ltd. has already won approval
from the China Banking Regulatory Commission to upgrade its
representative office in Chengdu to a branch. This will be the ninth
branch of the bank on the Chinese mainland.
