Some Buddhists and tourists participated in a ritual of Buddha's birth at
the Victoria Park in Hong Kong May 24 to show their piety and pray for
auspiciousness. Thousands of Buddhism disciples and the public gathered
here for a series of events such as Buddhist ritual, sacrifice offering
and prayer ceremony to celebrate Buddha's Birthday and the 10th
anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the mainland.
