www.chinanews.cn 2005-02-23 15:25:49

(February 22, 2005) On the food street of Hunan Road in Nanjing,
exquisite folk handicrafts caught a child's eyes. On the closing ceremony
of the first Folk Culture and Art Festival on Hunan Road in Nanjing held
on the same day, handicraft artists certainly added to the festive
atmosphere of the Lantern Festival with handicrafts either made on the
spot or already on display. These handicrafts are of strong folk
characteristics and are well liked by tourists and residents.
