Daizhu wine in bamboo cylinders

As Chinese New Year draws near, the Daizhu wine from Yunnan's
Xishuangbanna was well received by residents in Yichang, Hubei. Many have
chosen the wine as gifts for their relatives and friends. After being
stored in bamboo cylinders, the wine has a crystal-clear gold color and
not so strong flavor. Mixing white liquor's pureness, bamboo leaves'
faint scent, red wine's sweetness and brandy's mellow taste, the Daizhu
wine also contains Chinese herbal medicines such as bamboo leaves and
bamboo shavings.
