Gambling machines destroyed

On Mar. 29th, the Beijing Police and other relevant departments destroyed
over 1100 gambling machines. This is yet another mass action in a
nationwide program focused on illegal gaming and other criminal
activities. Since the beginning of this month, the police have destroyed
14 casinos, made 826 gambling-related arrests and confiscated gambling
money and goods valued at more than 1.2 million yuan.
